We had a manic Chinese New Year this year and not until now did we have the opportunity to upload pictures of some of the customized Chinese New Year cupcakes we did for our clients. So many cupcakes!!!

We just had our busiest week in our 5.5 year history. Baking close to 13,000 cupcakes this past week, it's been manic at our central kitchen!! Check out some of the awesome events we catered to recently !!

We did a whole slew of corporate orders for various companies that we shipped to various locations in Hong Kong. We've also been mad packaging all sorts of party favor cupcake boxes for various weddings and birthday events.

Finally it's also been a busy wedding weekend for cupcake towers and we sent numerous towers to Hyatt Regency in Shatin, Megabox and the peak.

We've catered to a slew of wedding events recently averaging 5 - 6 a week. Here are a few we'd like to highlight. We've been mad folding and packaging cupcakes into our party favor boxes and here are a few ribbon tied samples. We've also been sending out oodles of our cupcake towers complete with customized monogram plaques and sugar flowers. We also catered to a beautiful Casablanca themed event at the American club for a special wedding anniversary.

We're entering our busiest month of the year and all 4 locations are buzzing with all sorts of exciting Christmas orders, weddings and other special occasion events. We've been busy doing all sorts of gift packages for various events and here are a few we'd like to highlight. We sent out hundreds of cookies to first a corporate event for OTO body care. WE are also sending oodles of cookie party favors to a princess themed party this weekend. Check out these customized princess and shield cookie party favors! We're also preparing for a tonne of wedding events involving all sorts of cupcake party favors and cupcake towers! STay tuned for more exciting news and all sorts of christmas decorations!

Oodles of weddings and corporate events

We had a busy weekend this past week as we slowly get back into the rhythm of things. We catered to 3 weddings for macaron party favors and wrapped over a 1000 macarons in different individual packages!

In other wedding news we also sent this tower of delicious strawberry and lemon cupcakes over to Domani for an intimate wedding celebration! We topped the cupcake tower with our chocolate cake wrapped in pink fondant and pink macarons (unfortunately given how busy we've gotten we actually are no longer doing these cake toppers anymore)

Finally for a fabulous Ted Baker event over the entire weekend we sent over 600 mini cupcakes to their store in the New Territories. They were perfectly mini and delectable and went down a treat!

For a fabulous birthday party we brought back an old favorite: Laduree color inspired cupcakes! We made oodles of vanilla cupcakes and dyed them into signature Laduree inspired colors: pastel green, pink and yellow. We also added handcrafted sugar butterflies on top of the cupcakes as well!

We did these beautiful customized pink oreo cupcakes with customized breast cancer ribbons. Great looking and for a great cause! The morning we also sent over 300 cupcakes to various Ageas locations for an awesome cupcake Friday.

We catered to a few weddings and here's a photo example of one cupcake tower we sent to a wedding up at the peak. We topped the tower with a red velvet cake topper lined with pink macarons and filled the tower with oreo, chocolate and snowball cupcakes.

It's another manic Friday here at Sift with another 1000+ cupcakes out the door! We first catered bright and early to a corporate event at Bayer Pharmaceutical. For their event for Qiara, we sent over oodles of macaron packages complete with "Qiara" logo. We also sent over this beautiful color coded cupcake tower and red velvet cake topper as well! (FYI, we have a new round of early bird chefs now and can cater to many events bright and early with cupcakes fresh out of the oven!)

We also catered to a few weddings and mini cupcakes and pastries were the highlight this weekend! We also did these beautiful customized purple rose and chocolate macarons! All 300+ of them were individually packaged and tied with a matching silver ribbon!

Sift Graham Street featured in brand new Louis Vuitton city guide!!

We had some very exciting news today! Louis Vuitton has selected our Graham Street location to be featured in the new edition of Louis Vuitton's Hong Kong and Macau City Guide. It's the first time Louis Vuitton City Guide is stopping off in Hong Kong and Macau and we are thrilled to be featured!!

We are in the midst of a very busy wedding weekend here at Sift, catering to quite a few weddings across town. Here are some fun pics to share. We made 800 macarons for beautiful wedding at Grand Hyatt along with a beautiful cupcake tower to match.

We also sent this red color themed cupcake tower filled with red velvet and dyed red lemon cupcakes.

For another fabulous wedding at Four Seasons we sent these beautiful customized purple buttercream rose dotted mini cupcakes and piled them beautifully on one of our cupcake stands. The cupcake stand played a center role in this beautiful flower decorated dessert buffet table.

We're a bit behind on our blog entries but we've had an extremely busy week juggling between our usual orders and preparation of our 4th shop! Yes everyone construction starts next week and we are uber uber excited here for our Prince's Building location to open!!

Here are a few highlights from this week! We catered to a bunch of corporate events and we feature two highlights here! We first catered to a fabulous "Fashion Night Out" event at Stella with hundreds of delicious red velvet and strawberry mini cupcakes all topped with a "I heart Stella" plaque! These were beautifully presented at their awesome Landmark Stella Mccartney flagship shop!

In other corporate news we also sent this fun colorful cupcake tower to a 2nd year anniversary for HSBC's CLG department !

Up to a thousand cupcakes went out today for various events. We sent a bunch of mini cupcakes in pastel colors to Little Luxe's launch at Bookazine today. Along with these we also made oodles of customized doggy bone shaped plaques for Hush Puppy.

In other customized cupcake news we also sent a tonne of cupcakes to Helena May today with customized plaques all in white and green that we designed in house with alphabets A, F and J. We also hand crafted some adorable 3d lions and teddy bears for the event ! Finally for a fun filled birthday at the Aberdeen Marina Club we sent over this tower of chocolate and banana foster cupcakes complete with princess decorations.

We're kicking off a fun filled weekend with first an awesome press event at Graham Street complete with our matching pastel colored mini cupcakes and macarons and also a beautiful cupcake tower to the Shek O Golf Club. New dessert at graham street

We're introducing a new dessert item at our Graham Street location today. It's a warm chocolate tart paired with an avocado banana compote, caramelized bananas and banana ice cream. Might sound like a bit of a strange element the avocado but it adds the perfect touch of creaminess and tang to our banana compote. The warm chocolate tart and banana ice cream also go hand in hand in a perfect temperature contrast.

New pastry item and more wedding cupcake towers

We're introducing an exciting new member to our pastry selection! It's called "Exotique" and it's comprised of a silky smooth coconut mousse, fresh mangos, almond sponge and a mango and passion fruit compote. A play on a classic Asian dessert combination, perfectly refreshing.

We also catered to two weddings today. Check out the two different wedding cupcake towers. The first one was to the American Club and was comprised of a variety of flavors. We also lined each cupcake with a plaque with each and every guests' name. The other cupcake tower we kept it simple and had it perfectly adorned with simple cupcakes and delivered it to the Renaissance Harbor View hotel.

Check out this beautiful cupcake tower we did for a wedding at Azure in LKF hotel. We kept it simple with strawberry and snowball cupcakes and also decorated the strawberry cupcakes with beautiful, pink polka dot lined, heart shaped, initial embossed fondant plaques.

We've also welcomed a new dessert item to our Graham Street dessert menu! Our "Mango Duo" is comprised of a martini glass filled with passion fruit puree, freshly diced mangos, a coconut infused mascarpone cream and almond croustillant for extra crunch. It's also paired with our flaky napoleon layers sandwiched with mangos tossed in mint and basil. It's beautifully plated and perfectly delectable and refreshing!

The 6-tier cupcake tower was filled with Oreo and Hazelnut Chocolate Crunch flavours.
To top it off, we made a cake topper out of our strawberry cake flavor,
covered in white icing and decorated with the couple's custom-made ribbons!

For a fun-filled birthday, we did a cupcake tower filled with our Pure Vanilla, Luscious Chocolate,
Vanilla Chocolate and Snowball flavours, with handcrafted fondant animals: giraffes, zebras and elephants to top them off.
We also made a cake topper out of our Vanilla cake, dyed yellow and decorated with our colorful Macaroons!

For a wedding, we made over three hundred of our Macaroons, all individually wrapped with customized ribbon and labeled with adorable bespoke stickers as wedding party favours!
The flavours were Vanilla, Pistachio, Rose, Chocolate and Caramel.

For a birthday, we made teddy bear shortbread cookies in blue icing with the celebrant's name.

THis past week we first did this awesome corporate order made of hundreds of packages of our delicious french pastries : sift chocolate cake, strawberry mille feuille and ispahan! They were neatly packaged into boxes and were the perfect giveaway for our corporate client.

We did a huge order worth of close to a hundred pieces of pastries this morning for a member of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital staff. The hospital authority have been huge fans of our pastries and we in fact frequently make huge pastry deliveries to various hospitals around Hong Kong. Today we packaged 6 pastries in each of the boxes and sent them to various staff of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital's surgery team! Our delicious french pastries are the perfect gift for those looking for something different from our ever popular cupcakes !!

Bliss ordered this beautiful cupcake tower from us for their wedding fair booth this past Sunday. We kept it simple and elegant and layered our 6 tier cupcake tower with 300 mini chocolate and oreo cupcakes in brown, white and lavender. We catered to a few weddings this weekend in the summer heat. Here are two photo examples to shares with you! We sent the first cupcake tower to the Grand Hyatt Pool House, filled with chocolate, mocha, strawberry, red velvet and lemon meringue cupcakes. All cupcakes were topped with customized monogram plaques. In the second photo you 'll find a cupcake tower we sent to the football club this morning. This cupcake tower was decorated with alternate layers of lemon meringue and red velvet cupcakes. All cupcakes were topped with customized monogram plaques as well!

Yes it's official!! We're opening our 4th location this October in Prince's Building shop 240 and 241!!! Get as excited as we are about this newest location. Given the ongoing increase in demand we've gotten many requests for a location closer to Central and you asked and we listened!! Check out shop renderings! As with our last 2 patisseries we are again collaborating with Joyce Wang of MICA design. The new shop space features a sleek, modern look complete with cantilevered, wavelike display cases that will feature even more of our famous cupcakes, macarons and pastries! This week's event included a 6-tier birthday cupcake tower that we sent to a fabulous birthday party over at Fook Lam Moon. The tower was filled with Oreo, Snowball, Red Velvet, Hazelnut Chocolate Crunch and Salty Caramel flavored cupcakes!!!

We also did a tonne of cookie monster themed cupcakes for another birthday celebration. Check these out! Cupcakes were complete with freshly baked chocolate chipped cookies and specially piped blue vanilla icing to mimick cookie monster's signature look !

For this hot summer weather we're introducing a delicious classic, our blueberry mascarpone cheesecake:
a silky smooth mascarpone cheesecake redolent of vanilla is topped with a fresh blueberry compote and
blueberries. To give an extra crunch, we've also added our very own homemade graham cracker cookie bottom
spiked with cinnamon and smoothed with honey. It's absolutely delectable so come check it out!

Also for a busy morning, we sent hundreds of cupcakes to Manulife in two of their locations!

In the midst of this terrible rainy weather, we had a bit of excitement today catering to AXA's fabulous corporate event which we've been catering to 2 years in a row! Like last time, we sent over hundreds of mini pastries and this time mini cupcakes as well! We placed everything on our cupcake towers and check out what a stunning presentation they made! We've just introduced a new flavor today and it's completely delicious for all you chocoholics out there! It's our brand new triple chocolate cupcake and just check out how deliciously decadent it looks! It's a dark chocolate cake base filled with chocolate cream cheese frosting and glazed with dark chocolate ganache! It's a chocolate lover's dream!

For a fabulous 50th anniversary we did hundreds of these customized photo cupcakes and sent them to the Grand Hyatt! Each cupcake package came as a pair of cupcakes with a photo of the couple 50 years ago and a photo of the couple today! A perfectly sweet and memorable gift for each and every guest to take away home!

We also did over a hundred of these delicious shortbread cookies for Courage Marine's special event! We made two designs in total, one of a cargo ship with Courage Marine's logo and another of just Courage Marine's logo! Perfect giveaways for any special event !

We cater to numerous weddings each week and our bespoke wedding cupcake designs are getting extremely popular. Check out these beautifully designed wedding cupcakes in 2 different themes! One of the cupcake towers comes with a white and green color scheme and the cupcakes are topped with piped green roses, some with white and yellow daisies with an edible fondant butterfly perched on top! To finish off the whole look, we lined the cupcake tower with a matching green ribbon. The other cupcake tower we did in a pink and brown color scheme with adorning ribbons and roses to match. The strawberry cupcakes came topped with an edible chocolate brown fondant ribbon and the chocolate cupcakes we topped with strawberry flavor piped roses as well as a matching ribbon attached to the cupcake wrappers! We've been a bit behind with our blogging given how busy we've been but these two weeks we've been extremely busy with a slew of corporate and private events! For a wedding at the China Club, we did a 100 customized shortbread party favors. The cookies came in the couple's signature wedding colors, were cut out in heart shaped and decorated with the couple's initials as well. We ribbon tied them with matching navy blue ribbon for the perfectly delectable give away for each and every guest.

For another purple daisy themed wedding, we did these adorable vanilla cupcakes complete with edible purple daisy fondant decorations!

Kicking start a hugely busy week for us, here are some fun special themed products we've put together. For a fabulous purple themed wedding check out these purple themed wedding cake and heart shaped shortbread party favors we've put together. Each shortbread cookies comes individually tied with its own purple ribbon to match!

For a Scottish themed event at the Peak Lookout, we did hundreds of cupcakes placed onto this cupcake tower complete with customized Tartan print fondant plaques!

Finally for a soccer fan's birthday check out these adorable soccer themed cupcakes. Icing was dyed green and piped like grass to make it look ultra realistic!

Tonnes of cupcakes for corporate events

We are crazy busy with corporate events this week! To kick start it all we did this beautiful cupcake tower made of mini cupcakes in pink, white and purple (strawberry, coconut and vanilla flavors) and sent it to a wedding event the Miramar hotel had at the French Window.

For an AGM meeting for China Telecom, we sent over hundreds of these delicious cupcakes all customized with their China Telecom logo. We placed some on this 6 tier cupcake tower (flavors red velvet, chocolate, banana foster, green tea and strawberry) and also gave out others as party favors complete with our individual cupcake party favor boxes.

Finally Ted Baker again ordered hundreds of mini cupcakes from us to be sent Friday, Saturday and Sunday of this week. We did it in a variety of flavors and placed all of them on our 6 tier cupcake stand.

We catered to a bunch of events this week, all requiring mini cupcake towers. We did a beautiful event for a 1st year old right here in ALC and filled our 5 tier cupcake stand with 5 different flavors of cupcakes. For another wedding at the Langham Hotel we piled hundreds of cupcakes plus a cake topper onto this beautiful cupcake tower. For the big fashion event at Landmark, we have been sending hundreds of cupcakes every day to Stella Mccartney's shop. These cupcakes are complete with mini "Stella" fondant plaques! Finally we did this pink and white themed cupcake tower made of strawberry and vanilla cupcakes and sent it to the Renaissance Habor View hotel for a beautiful wedding there!

For another Milan Station event, we did a whole bunch of green and orange handbag decorated cupcakes for them. Each of these beautifully decorated cupcakes came in either vanilla or vanilla chocolate flavor, had their own individual fondant crafted green or orange handbag and complete with Milan Station corporate logo fondant plaque. We placed each of them in our party favor boxes and ribbon tied them with gold color ribbon to match!

We're entering a big cookie party favor weekend! For two separate baby showers we did oodles of baby themed cookies. For a baby boy celebration, we did these beautiful baby blue polka dot decorated onesie shortbread cookies! For another baby celebration we did an assortment of dices, milk bottles and onesies in blue and pink color. Finally it is Mother's Day Sunday afterall! We are doing these adorable heart shaped shortbread cookie party favors with special Mother's Day messages on top!

We did another fabulous cupcake event for another company this week .This time for Dow Jones, we put together a beautiful cupcake tower filled with these corporate logo customized cupcakes. In addition, Milan Station loved our cupcakes so much they ordered another batch from us. This time we did these fabulous 3d handbag decorations and placed them on top of our cupcakes complete with their customized logo fondant plaques as well. As I mentioned we've been churning out tonnes of baby themed products. Here's another bunch of baby themed cookies, this time in onesies, dices and baby bottles for a pair of fraternal twins. We made them in pink and blue and matched them with pink and blue ribbons!

For a fabulous wedding at the Chariot Club, we sent this beautiful purple and green themed cupcake tower all made of our fabulously adorable mini cupcakes. We sent flavors of red velvet, oreo, vanilla and lemon meringue mini cupcakes and also dyed oreo and vanilla into magenta and lilac colors to match the theme. We've come up with an utterly delicious new cupcake flavor! Inspired by our own pastry item, our chocolate raspberry cupcake is perfect for the coming of the warmer months! We use fresh raspberry puree blended into the cake base, topped it with our dark chocolate cupcake and drizzled it with additional raspberry sauce for some extra tangy raspberry flavor! Check it out! We've had an amazing weekend of baby celebrations! We catered to a tonne of corporate parties today! For a special celebration at Prudential we sent over tonnes of red velvet cupcakes all customized with their corporate logo. For another celebration over at Morgan Stanley we sent over hundreds of these mini delicious cupcakes with "Thank You" custom fondant plaques. For our third celebration this weekend, we did these cupcakes for Dah Sing Life complete with heart shaped customized logo plaques!

We catered to 3 weddings this weekend. We sent this beautiful tower of mini cupcakes for a wedding in the New Territories. The cupcake tower is made of lemon, vanilla, strawberry and chocolate mini cupcakes. We also decorated the top with a delicious strawberry cake topper!

For another wedding, we sent over a tonne of party favors. The cupcakes were customized with two different designs. One is a beehive design which we've done in the past. Here, we made beehive shaped shortbread cookies to top the cupcakes and also miniature edible fondant bees on top. Since the groom is a huge mountain climbing afficionado, we also made these beautiful heart shaped carabiners to top the rest of the cupcakes. All cupcakes were individually packaged in our party favor box for each and every guest to take away.

For the third wedding, we sent over a tower of beautiful cupcakes to an intimate wedding at the Verandah. Again made of mini cupcakes we stuck to a pink and white theme with strawberry and snowball flavored cupcakes. We also made a vanilla flavored cake topper covered in white fondant and pink ribbon. There's nothing more in season in Spring time than rhubarb and starting today we're introducing a new pastry item called Ivoire. Check out how deliciously gorgeous it looks! It's an almond genoise mousseline cake base, with rhubarb compote, valrhona ivoire mousse, glazed in ivoire neutral glaze, topped with fresh strawberries and and beautiful white chocolate decoration on top. It's been an extremely busy day for us and we've put out over a thousand cupcakes in all shapes and sizes. Here are a few highlights! For a sailing aficionado we made a bunch of these sailing themed cupcakes all decorated with Sailing themed fondant decorations such as sailor hats, sail boats and life jackets.

We also sent some very beautiful customize fondant decorated cupcakes to a beautiful wedding at Amuse Bouche. We kept to the pink and white theme and sent strawberry and snowball flavored cupcakes, all beautifully lined on our cupcake tower!

This is another big baby celebration week for us. This week, for a very special little baby boy's birthday, we sent hundreds of cupcakes as thank you packages to various addresses around town. All cupcakes were decorated with baby blue milk bottles and baby blue pacifiers.

We sent out two very different cupcake towers this past Saturday amidst all our crazy cupcake baking! We made for two talented musicians a cupcake tower, filled with red velvet and carrot cupcakes. Each carrot and red velvet cupcake was topped with some fabulous guitar and mandolin decorations!

For another cupcake tower we sent to Watermark for a beautiful wedding! We sent over a tower filled with lemon, strawberry and snowball cupcakes. They coordinated with the wedding color themes perfectly!!

We did two awesome events this weekend both involving tonnes of our awesome party favors! For a Kuok Group event at the Shangrila. We sent over 600+ cucpakes of assorted flavors all individually packaged in our "perfect for one" cupcake boxes!

For another very special event, a beautiful wedding held at the Repulse Bay, we sent over these beautiful Seesawsed designed macaron boxes. A total of 800 macarons packaged in 400 precious packages for each and every guest to take something sweet home!

For one of our favorite cosmetic brands cle de peau, we sent out these beautiful Valentine's Day themed corporate cupcakes! Each package was made of 6 delicious cupcakes, vanilla, lemon and luscious chocolate. Our vanilla and lemon cupcakes were dyed pink to match our Valentine's Day theme. All cupcakes were topped with beautiful silver sugar pearls and complete with a heart shaped logo of Cle de Peau! We sent these all around town to various locations!

It's a big week for us for celebrations for baby boys. We'd like to highlight two events in particular! For baby Tom's 100 day birthday held at the lovely poolhouse at Grand Hyatt we did these fun baby Tiger themed cupcakes and cookies. In each customized gift bag, we placed a vanilla cupcake dyed blue with orange pacifier, an oreo cupcake dyed blue with an orange tiger and also a baby blue stroller shortbread cookie with customized messages as well! Each item was individually packaged and tied with a baby blue ribbon for the perfectly delectable, unforgettable giveaway for each and every guest.

For another spectacular baby celebration, we did over a hundred cupcakes divided into packages of 6 with again baby blue dyed icing. We also did little 2d baby stroller plaques and 2 d baby bottles for the cupcakes as well as customized "Oliver" sugar plaques!

We've been busy with all sorts of exciting wedding events. We first sent this simple but elegant cupcake tower to a wedding at the Verandah. Given the wedding color themes were white and purple we layered the cupcake tower into red velvet cupcake and violet colored dyed oreo cupcake layers.

For another wedding which is taking place in 3 cities across the globe, we are sending with the bride and groom over 400 cookies for each and every one of their guest to take away as party favors. We baked our delicious crumbly shortbread cookies with customized decorations as well.

Finally for a bee themed wedding in our pipeline we designed these adorable bee hive cupcakes for the bride and groom. Complete with hexagonal shortbread cookie decorations and little edible fondant bees!

As I mentioned we are in the midst of introducing a bunch of new items. This week, we are introducing a newly designed lemon tart with a brand new lemon cream filling and italian meringue piped around the edges. We are also introducing our "Marron" pastry which is a delicious chestnut themed pastry with a base of chocolate genoise, chestnut mousse, almond dacquoise and piped almond pastry cream on top. They're both delicious and a perfect addition to our current repertoire. Stay tuned for many more items to come !!

Stella McCartney Birthday cupcakes

For this entire year, we're supplying one of our favorite designers, Stella Mccartney with birthday cupcakes. We specially made some strawberry cupcakes and red velvet cupcakes with customized pink and white "Stella" fondant plaques. We again collaborated with Seesawsed for these beautiful pink and white customized cupcake boxes as well! Each box is labeled with a Stella Mccartney sticker and sent of their clients for a perfectly sweet box of cupcakes for their birthday !
